Now you have the power to do something about it! Introducing CAOD CLEANER, your one-stop-shop for filtering undesired posts on the CAOD forum. Enabling this tool will filter out any posters you don't want to see at the click of a button; it's as easy as that. See the screenshot below for the CAOD Cleaner in action!

Installation

0. As a self-respecting CAOD reader you're using Firefox right? If not, go here to get it, this is not IE compatible. 1. Download the Greasemonkey addon. Click this install link. This is an official add-on from the firefox download site.
2. In the installation dialog, click 'Install'
3. After installation click 'Restart Firefox' to complete installation and restart the browser. You'll see the monkey icon in the bottom right corner: This confirms that Greasemonkey is installed. Now point your browser to this installation page again.
4. Install the CAOD Cleaner script into Greasemonkey to activate CAOD Cleaner. Just click this link, then click 'Install': CAOD Cleaner (V2.2 By Jonny Damordred) And if you like popups or older versions(Can't imagine you do) Link : CAOD Cleaner (V1.3 Older version By Randell) Congratulations!. Your life as a CAOD reader has just become a good deal easier! CAOD Cleaner is installed! You should now visit the CAOD forum example thread to see CAOD Cleaner at work!
Configuration
In the unlikely case you'd wish to move away from the set of corporations and/or alliances which are being filtered by default, you may configure CAOD Cleaner by right-clicking the Greasemoney icon in the bottom-right corner, and select 'Manage User Scripts'.
In the configuration screen, press 'Edit' in the bottom left corner to proceed to configuration. After clicking 'Edit' you will be prompted to specify a text-editor. Enter 'C:\windows\notepad.exe' for example (or any location your notepad.exe resides). (On an unrelated note: Uninstalling the CAOD Cleaner is done by clicking the button 'Uninstall', obviously).
The script will show up in your text editor. Edit the lines containing 'filterposter' for filtering specific individuals, or 'filtercorp' for filtering corporations, or use the one-takes-care-of-all option 'filteralliance', for filtering all posts made by specific alliance(s). Make sure you leave the syntax intact, so keep the [ and ] in the lines and make sure you enclose all names with single quotes and use a comma to seperate between them. Save changes and you're done.
